His environmental portraits celebrate people where they live and work, and his documentary narrative images capture life in the moment, revealing the instance, and the substance, of human interaction.
A former faculty member at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, he teaches advanced Photoshop and digital technique to photographers wishing to expand their skills and vision using digital imaging at the Julia Dean Photo Workshops, and offers private workshops and one-on-one consultation to professional and amateur photographers. In addition, Mark is an accomplished digital printmaker, creating large-format fine art digital prints for a select clientele of photographers and artists.
